"In Heaven, Everything Is Fine."-The Lady in the Radiator

Greetings moviegoers! I am Dr. Coathanger. Welcome to my perverted kingdom of the shocking and mundane. I am a high school student with too much time on his hands, and more than a few multimedia obsessions, ranging from John Waters, to David Lynch films, to Uma Thurman. On this site, I hope to offer insight in to some of these topics, and occasionally provide a forum for my short stories, screenplays, and poetry. If ever someone is interested in any of my writings or photography that I showcase, please e- mail me at [email protected] with feedback, deprecating comments, or money offers.(The latter is preferred. This is my first web page and I am using a format, so bear with me, and the page will eventually become what I want it to be.
This page is for everyone, but specifically collectors of rare and foreign films. My main interest at this point is obtaining an original copy of Eraserhead, a full length black and white feature written and directed by David Lynch, from 1977. I'm not sure what the release date was, but it was a Columbia pictures release, and it is approximately an hour and a half. If anyone has any useful info, or perhaps an offer, e- mail me with the details.
Please scroll down to view some weriting samples and poetry.

"Nothing is Real, Everything is Permitted."-Hassan i Sabbah
Hospital
by Dave
Just a trip to the hospital, nothing serious
Pale manila corridors, sunken faces, shuffling feet.
Steel knob controls the flow of blood to a geriatric brain.

Pressure.
Skull.Hairlinecrak.
Thin soft skull. Feeble.
Blue hands, pronounced veins, jaundiced.
The sickeningly sweet aroma of ivory hand cream
thick steel doors(white) shut silently. Air lock.
Sanitarium.
Rooms reek of shit.
Hospital issue clothing, instruments retain fluids, control movement.
Soft, squishy flesh by the handful.
Prescision tools to aid sanitary efforts, and downgrade the body polytik.
Poor little children. Mommy and daddy dead. Car crash. Mrs. Fogel. Room 337. Diabetic attack. Tubes up nose, ass, and other.
Poor old man is alone. He feels neglected, and cries out for solace.
His needs are met with sharp edges and dull hammers.
Nothing serious.

Atomic Books
My cousin's best friend owns this store, which is frequented by John Waters. Signed copies of his books are available at retail price. Also features an in-store camera, and a very interesting and arcane movie, book, and magazine selection.
